Pregnant Elle Maternity Wear (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a maternity fashion brand based in Uganda, offering apparel, accessories, and postpartum products through our physical location and online store.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or purchasing from our website or social media platforms, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We strive to provide accurate descriptions, photos, and details. However:

Colours may vary due to screen differences.

Sizes may slightly differ depending on fabric stretch and cut.

We guarantee that all products delivered will match the description provided at the time of purchase, as required by the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

4. PRICING & PAYMENTS

All prices are listed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX).

Payment must be made using secure, approved methods such as Mobile Money, bank transfer, VISA or cash on delivery (where applicable).

We do not store or share your payment information and comply with Ugandan electronic data protection requirements.

5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Delivery timelines vary based on your location.

Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the error is from our side.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate address and contact information.

6. RETURN, REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

Pregnant Elle aims to ensure that every mama loves her purchase.

This policy aligns with the Electronic Transactions Act 2011, which gives customers the right to cancel or return goods purchased online.

6.1 Right to Return (7-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Customers have a right to return and exchange an online purchase within 7 days after receiving the goods.                                                                                                                  Please contact us within 48 hours.

To be eligible:

Item must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition.

Tags, labels, and packaging must be intact.

Customer must present proof of purchase.

6.2 Items NOT Eligible for Return (Hygiene Regulations)

For health and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

Maternity panties

Maternity Pads

Nursing bras

Shapewear

Postpartum belts

Breast/nursing accessories (pads, nipple covers, etc.)

Clearance/discounted final sale items

6.3 Exchanges

We offer exchanges within 7 days for:

Wrong size

Wrong colour

Different item (of equal value)

If the new item is higher priced, the customer pays the difference.

Customer covers return and re-delivery fees unless the error is from Pregnant Elle.

6.4 Defective or Wrong Items

If you receive:

A defective item

A damaged item

An item that does not match the description

Please contact us within 48 hours.

We will inspect and replace it at no extra cost, as required by the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

6.5 Refunds

Refunds apply only in situations where:

The customer cancels during the 7-day cooling-off period

The item is defective or not as described

Pregnant Elle is unable to fulfil the order

Refund notes:

Refunds are processed within 3–7 working days.

Refunds are made via the original payment method (Mobile Money or bank transfer).

Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the mistake is ours.

7. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

In line with Uganda’s Electronic Transactions Act and international standards:

We only collect data needed to process orders.

We do NOT sell or share your data with third parties.

Payment information is handled through secure, encrypted platforms.

Customers may request deletion or review of their stored personal information.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Pregnant Elle is not responsible for:

Delays caused by third-party couriers

Incorrect delivery information provided by customers

Improper use or care of purchased products

Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.

9. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated date.
